Vegan Week
From next Friday, I’m going to have a strictly vegan week. I’m a pretty regular meat-eating, cheese loving person but I had the sudden urge to see how a vegan diet would make me feel physically and mentally. Weigh-in 17 Feb 2012
This morning I expected to gain weight. I didn’t want to, but I told myself to face reality and accept it and work hard to change it.
Well I actually lost weight! I’m now 85.9kg (189lbs so I’m finally out of the 190’s!). So that’s a total loss of 2.6kg since Jan 6th which seems so small… But it’s better than nothing at all. That’s almost 6lbs.

I hate the way my mind works sometimes
I start well. I’m full of motivation and I’m determined to fulfill my goals. I have a plan, I’m disciplined. I remind myself every moment why I’m doing this. I fight through pain, I reward my perseverance with healthy food and lots of water. I feel good, I feel strong, I feel healthy and full of life.

Not feeling well today!

Dinner Tonight
Beau is making snapper fillets! This is basically the only thing he can cook but that’s okay. I’m looking forward to it :)
I’m also looking forward to kicking my ass tomorrow. I can feel myself slip into laziness… I can’t let that happen! I really wish all the food-related social things would fuck off though, there’s always something!

Grill'd for Dinner
We’ve been invited to dinner with some friends and the general consensus was Grill’d. I LOVE GRILL’D. Their burgers are pretty good, I love how fresh everything is. I reckon if I choose any of their burgers it will be a great dinner and I will just pass on the chips (I ALWAYS pass on the chips because serving sizes are insane).

Weekend Yay

No more group active :(
Well term one of vocal lessons starts today which means no more group active! Unfortunately we negotiated lesson times last year but I’ll talk to her and see if we can move it to another day. I really love group active because I get the best cardio and weight lifting sesh ever!
There’s one on Saturday mornings as well but Saturday will be my regular PT day. Too many things!

There’s not much to report today, I’m still aching from my workout yesterday. It’s funny, I keep getting mixed responses about puking during a workout. Workout 07/02/12
My workout today was seriously hard. I actually puked. Never thought that would happen!
My warm-up was 5 mins on the treadmill then three sets with the resistance bands (lat pulls, bent-over rows, shrugs), russian twists and kettlebell swings.
